AMD released new update for Radeon Rx5700 series GPU | is it can improve gaming experience

We all know that AMD recently released its 3rd generation cpu's which is based on 7nm fabrication process. So now AMD released new update for its Radeon Rx 5700 series GPU to push the gaming limits. Under this update AMD bring too much new hot feature that a gamer need to get better gaming experience.

AMD new updated drivers

So in the new update they are lots of new features to improve gaming experience so here is the new features:

1. Improve image quality : we all know that in 2019 the AAA tittle games like the shadow of tomb raider , pubg all these games were gave a strain on GPU when we play these games at 4k resolution. So under this new feature we get sharp and crisp image quality at low resolution. With decreasing resolution ae get nice frame rates so here is the image with image sharping on/off

2. AMD anti- lag : so what is the major issue that we face while gaming ! lag. We all face lag so to solve this issue AMD bring a new anti-lag feature. When this feature is on the GPU cannot queued up and we get a nice performance. 

3. AMD Radeon chill : so the third new feature is radeon chill. This feature was come few years ago but in the new it gets more powerful. When we use this feature the GPU adjust frame rates caps according to the monitor refresh rate. It results that GPU can consume less power and bring better performance.

4. AMD fidelity fx : it was an open source image toolkit. This toolkit implement on the time of gaming. It combines contrast-adaptive sharpening and lump preserving mapping technologies to bring great looking visuals while gaming.

5. Radeon relive : This feature was introduced in the month of December of past year. Under this update we can play our PC games on android and iOS devices but in the new update AMD brings an addon that now we can play our PC games on the Android TV and apple TV. By this feature users experience that big screen gaming.

Is it improves the gaming performance and experience

So by reading about AMD new updated graphics the thought come in our mind that is it improves the gaming experience. So the answer is yes. Here is the some tastings of new updated drivers:

1. Image sharping test : this was tested on i7-9700k (3.6ghz) , 16gb of ddr4 ram (3200mhz). It can tested on dota 2 , the shadow of tomb raider , deus ex we can get a improvement in image quality at 1080p resolution. The image is like 4k but there is reduction in fps we get 74 to 84 fps ( without image sharpening) and 56 to 76.7 ( with image sharpening).

2. Anti-lag test : In this test we test with same specs with the shadow of Tomb raider , cod blackops 4 , rainbow six siege. We get 54.6 upto 22.4 display latency( without anti-lag). we get 54.2 upto 17.3 display latency (with anti-lag) which is a pretty cool thing we get nice performance with anti-lag. 

3. Radeon chill : we test this feature on overwatch , cod black ops 4 , world of warcraft it consume 54.4w upto 91.5w ( without radeon chill). There is a reduction of 18% of power consumption with radeon chill.
